A Dream of You

Last night I had a dream of you,

Soft as rain, and quietly true.

You were there, in the corner of my mind,

A gentle echo, tender and kind.

The morning woke me, light in my eyes,

But your shadow lingered, under the skies.

I reach for nothing, yet feel you near,

A whispered presence, calm and clear.

Though the day moves on, and moments pass,

The memory of you, like sunlight on glass,

Stays with me softly, as dreams will do,

Last night, I had a dream of you.
