The grip of reality

slowly taking over me

away from my real hobbies

all in the name of making more money

I know I’m busy

There’s got to be a way

to do what I love to

be who I am

write what I know

Still struggling for the space

for my own creativity

before it’s slowly erased

by this busy reality...
