While at the same time, you turn us blue

keep us homebound,

while you’re free to roam around.

What humanity?

We’re treated more like properties

only seen at face-value

though we have thoughts, feelings, and opinions too

“Oh, but I do respect you.”

Then why aren’t you listening?

Why do you keep second-guessing

whatever we say?

You don’t really care anyway

questioning our ‘rationality’

yet you demand that we do as you please

We’re sick to death of your superiority.

“Oh, but I really respect you.”

Yeah, right.

To question or debate with you means another exhausting fight.

The truth is,

this is just how you value us.

So stop saying crap about ‘respect’,

when what you keep doing to us is the exact opposite.
