Do they see what I see?

You’ve come to terms with reality,

and decided to put your mask on

so, all they see is cold indifference.

Unfortunately,

your eyes are still so expressive,

giving away nothing but brutal honesty

on how you truly feel about the world lately.

Do they see what I see,

or do they play blind,

just for their own convenience?

Do they see what I see,

every time you look in the mirror?
