a decade and more

are still not enough

to know you as a whole.

I can still see the beauty in your soul,

hear the gentleness in your voice.

Somehow,

I can even imagine your warm embrace.

However,

you (seem to) shield the rest of you

while feeding me bread crumbs

which I hungrily grab

but none seem to complete

these missing puzzle pieces

inside your vast frame.

Nothing fits,

and I don’t like unfinished games or businesses.

I know you,

but also don’t.

Which side of you is true?
