Melting

We drift apart like ice caps

melting slowly and so gracefully

people who cry over ice are saps

It is only natural to want to melt

the sun is hot and the damage

of the day has been dealt

But why does the "media" make it seem so bad?

Is it all the death and destruction that comes with the beauty?

If the ice caps weren't melting would the news not seem bland?
