My Fate, Find Me

Written 2025-11-26

My fate resembles my father—

quiet strength, old-fashioned grace,

a steady heart that doesn’t flinch

at storms, or scars, or shadows on my face.

I walk through nights of violet,

dream in shades of midnight blue;

my hope burns soft in rosy light,

my courage sharp as black and true.

I’ve waited long in silent rooms,

in lands that never felt like home—

yet still I carry, deep inside,

a compass made of flesh and soul.

So if you hear me, kindred heart,

across the world, across the years—

step out of mist, step into sight,

and calm my doubts, and quiet fears.

Old-fashioned spirit, strong as oak,

with gentle fire, steady tone—

my fate, my echo, my familiar—

find me.

I am ready to be known.
