Another episode
an inner push to an automatic mode
a buzzing chainsaw in my ears
My vision wasn’t crystal-clear
It was the same old alien
the nemesis, never a friend
only here to bring me pain
again and again and again
It had pressed one side of my brain
as I tried not to faint
Thinking was always a labour
that I preferred lying on the floor
Still, I refuse to give in
so I always fight as hard as I can
Today, I am back to feeling happy
I’ve returned to my clarity.
