Paradise of a Fool

dressed in the feathers of doves

showered in the white tulip's petals

bathed in golden hues as he blesses

the gardens above with his feet,

he sings

voice think with honey

that drizzles over seraphic syllables

hypnotic in the way that it

fools the most naive of his victims

blessed is the foolish man

blissfully unaware of his own cage

longing for a moron's eternal ataraxia

that cruelly mocks true free will

damned is the wise man

agonizingly aware of his chains

longing for a raw,

and perhaps ugly kind of freedom
