You can stop playing victim,

by acting as if I’m the mean one.

I’ve got valid reasons to be angry

and stay that way

as long as you still disrespect me.

You can stop playing victim

because you were the one who started it.

I was simply minding my own business –

not giving a damn

that you thought I’d be throwing such a hissy fit.

You may stop playing the victim

or continue whining

but you’d made up your mind

when you chose to demonize

women like me (all career women are useless!)

No worries,

I’m not expecting your apology

since you believe you’ve always been right about everything.

To you, our friendship has meant nothing.

You’re more than welcome

to stay a (made-up) victim.

I’ve been okay with this radio silence.

There’s nothing wrong with my conscience.

Everyone’s entitled to their own choices,

as long as they don’t harm others.
