I ruminate..

I ruminate over the collapse of my reality,

Having to re-acclimate to a new actuality,

Of a double-crosser who indulges in infidelity,

A double agent, unmasked in eventuality,

Pondering over the tragedy of your duality,

The double life, a reminder of your perfidy,

The double standards, a sign of your disloyalty,

The double-speak, a clue of your pomposity,

The double-edged sword of Karma, famed for its brutality,

Will it double-down and avenge this monstrosity?

Or will just push me deeper into this quagmire , suffocating me in this travesty,

And make a mockery of my mortality?
