Remember-me-not

Written 2019-04-29

My madness is my method, my speed is my armor,

I guess i can be fun, slightly dry, but sly and spry.

Just don't you expect me to sink in your harbor,

And don't cry for me - no, woman, no cry!

For i envision life as a graph of many axes,

On helices of time one is merely a dot.

My ex'es don't chase me or each other with axes.

I'm like that useless flower, remember-me-not.

My wanderings are endless, my focus is clear,

I move, i get it done, what's the point in being stuck?

Just cut this crap my dear, let's meet for a beer,

Then maybe something stronger, then likely a fuck.

On Sunday you will see me unfurl my white sail

And vanish in the ocean at 25 knots,

But first i'll buy for you at some gardener's sale

A bunch of useless flowers - remember-me-nots.
