Shiva's song to Rama

Shiva Said:

“Ramchandra of Awadh realm,

Archer ace, Epitome of phlegm.

Missile infallible, sets vices aflame

O Ineffable ! ‘Tis diction of thy name.

Thy deeds divine, none can fathom

Subverted thy name, the oceanic venom.

Bewildered being, like a ship in a gale

Gleam in the dark, oh lord thy tale!

Abode of bliss, nature’s eternal mate

Beasts within the beings, thou placate.

The candid thee O, Ram! None can find

Thy frame alluring is the limit of the mind.”

And Shiva bows down to Ram ,with his ashen frame, reclined on the ground
