He’ll be caught

persecuted, like he’s always deserved

Someday,

his fake smile won’t work anymore

All his fans and audience will get bored

Not all people are stupid

not when they’re willing to learn

to look beyond

Someday,

all his masks will fall off

At the sight of him, they will scoff

There have been a number

who have seen the real him

up...close...and personal

Better?

Nope

Someday,

his sweet words will turn bitter

his ugliness will take over

The real beast shall be revealed

Soon, there’s nowhere for him to run

because by then,

the spotlight is on him

and he’s just done

For now,

keep our cool

so he can’t toy with anyone’s emotions

Let him take us for fools

until the day he loses all

and gets out of control

He may look convincing to this blind world

that he’s so much better

Someday soon,

the stage is no longer his

All his crimes won’t be missed

just like all his victims won’t be dismissed
