The Unexpected Twist

At first, I thought: **Wow, look at that guy!**

He was the hero of my personal micro-movie.

His eyes were like Wi-Fi: I caught the signal on the fly,

And my system went: **“Connection established, groovy!”**

I was crushing hard, quiet and quite proper—

No drama, no unnecessary intrigues or mess.

But Mom stood beside me, strict and like a stopper:

**“Hold on, sweetie… or there’ll be a huge transgression.”**

I couldn't get why the “block” was up,

Why Mom hit the parental control switch so fast.

I just wanted a tiny hug, a little cup

Of affection, 'cause his vibe was simply unsurpassed!

And Mom says:

“To love him—that’s fine.

To hug him—in small doses.

To kiss him—only on the cheek, line by line!

Any further—**a definite no go zone!”**

I stood there, looking like a funny penguin's plight,

Running around, not knowing where the server crashed:

“Mom, but why? He’s the boy of my dreams, all right!”

And Mom: “A boy, sure, but... he’s your Dad, alas!”

And then I went: **“Aaaaaaaah! What a major twist!”**

Like Netflix dropped a new season of family affairs.

It wasn’t a romance at all, but a genetic magnetist—

That’s why I was drawn; my blood led back to family cares.

And now I’m laughing, like a happy bee on clover:

I love my Daddy—how could I not, truly?

The format just updated, the awkwardness is over:

Hugs are **Allowed.**

A kiss on the cheek is **Approved.**

But everything else is Blocked, 'cause it’s the family pack rule!
