#July20
Things you don't live everyday:
Yesterday I went to the Chemo facility to get an ovary suppression injection and to start 10 years of post Chemo medicine.
In the waiting room, I witnessed a bald woman in her 30's , shackled with heavy metal chains and escorted by two prison guards walking in for treatment.
I can't stop thinking about this woman. It's a certain type of hell to go through cancer treatment, but to compound the situation by being in prison...
In the treatment room waiting for my shot, I sat across from a man in his 20's who said he had been hiccuping for 3 hours. I grabbed him a cup of water and showed him the upside down drinking technique. His hiccups instantly stopped.
What an odd day.
