Shepherds for Slaughter
The shepherds wake, and tend to their flocks of sheep.
As chaos rears it's head bearing ugly teeth.
When snakes come out to tempt, and break the weak.
The lambs turn into goats, and shake all of belief.
But like lambs who are slaughtered for their shepherds feast.
They savor the taste of an innocent defeat.
Though the price they pay is worth such succulent meat.
The goats in their madness, tend to their shepherds greed.
